Printing Options

Plastisol Inks:
Plastisol inks, our default, are the most common of all printing inks. They are known for their versatility and ease of printing on a variety of materials. These inks deliver great opacity on any color garment. When printed correctly, these inks will result in a soft hand and a long lasting print.

Water-Based Inks:
Water-based inks are newer and are becoming more popular with the evolution of the ink itself. These inks are 60% water and, as with all of our inks,  are environmentally safe. The inks deliver a super-soft hand on light to medium color garments. Although harder to work with on darker color garments, they still deliver a medium/soft hand. Both, however, deliver a long lasting image.

Discharge Printing:
Discharge printing is  suitable for medium to dark color garments. There are no inks in the discharge process. It is a printing technique that discharges (bleaches) the color from the shirt itself. Discharge dyes are then added to create the coloring of the design. Exact color matching is very hard with this process, but the result is no hand on the print. The only texture is from the fabric of the garment itself.

Hybrid Printing:
Hybrid printing offers the best of both worlds.  This incorporates a mixture of both plastisol inks, as well as, a discharge medium.  It blends the ease of printing associated with plastisols with the softness and breathability of discharge prints.  Please contact us or come in to see how any of these printing techniques can work for your needs.
